Low Carb Chicken Paratha Roll
Chicken paratha roll is a popular and delicious Pakistani snack that consists of a paratha (flatbread) filled with spicy chicken, onions, and various sauces. If you are on a specific diet such as low carb, gluten free or keto diet, but you can’t have this delicious meal for dinner or lunch, I created this recipe for my low carb and keto lovers. As I am following a low carb diet, strict keto followers can omit papaya paste.
I made chicken for the whole family, but for 2 servings, 200 gm of cooked chicken is fine. I made these keto parathas and my kids asked me to make keto parathas instead of regular ones from now on. It was so delicious and satisfying. Here’s a recipe to make it at home:

Method
Method to Prepare Paratha:
- Add almond flour, vital wheat gluten, oats fiber, salt and fenugreek leaves.
- Mix it well and make soft dough with 1/3 cup of warm water.
- Leave for 15 minutes and then roll and cook on skillet with ghee or butter.
Method to Prepare chicken:
- Blend together yogurt, green chilies, roasted cumin and garlic cloves.
- Then add salt, papaya, turmeric, chaat masala, chilli sauce and lemon juice.
- Marinate chicken with blended yogurt mixture. Leave for 30 minutes. Heat up oil in pan and add marinated chicken. Cover and cook till chicken is tender.
- Now fry well over high flame. Turn the flame off. Give smoke of charcoal.
- Meanwhile, prepare tahini sauce and parathas.
- Now spread tahini sauce on a paratha.
- Top with chicken and place onion rings. Fold and serve with chutney.
