This keto roti recipe is so soft and easy to prepare. Excellent to use as a wrap. I am a super fan of Indian and Mexican food, served with butter chicken, tikka roll or tacos, quesadilla or enchilada…whatever! That’s why it makes me super happy to have recipes like this that allow me to recreate my favourite recipes, but low in carbohydrates. With these ingredients that I am going to share with you, I got 4 large keto roti or tortillas and each one has 4 net Carbs. But you can divide into 6 or 8 according to your daily carb intake.
Store bought low carb tortillas are so hard to find, I have been making my own at home. And the process is much simpler than you think. The dough comes together in just a few minutes and the cooking time is less than ten minutes.

Now you don’t need to stick on lettuce wraps when you can use keto-friendly coconut flour tortillas, you can enjoy fajitas and low carb tacos using these low carb tortillas at home.
I prefer to use the Psyllium in mine to give them a whole grain and gluten free texture. However, if you are having trouble finding Psyllium husk, you can use flax meal instead. They both work great for these gluten-free coconut flour rotis or tortillas.

I want to try this recipe but don’t want a pronounced coconut flavour. Is it quite strong/noticeable? I really don’t want that. Can I substitute with another flour? Btw which brand physilium husk did you use? I heard that it turns gray/purple when cooked.
Sister you can use almond flour or flaxseeds flour instead of coconut flour, about hust, you can buy from any Indian or Pakistani grocery store, company name alamgeer. Asian Store’s husk never turned into purple or grey. Soon I will upload keto roti with diff types of flour.

Salaam Ghazala, what can we substitute the psyllium husk with? I really don’t like it’s texture afterwards. The roti just feels wet from the inside. Thx so much ♥️
Wa alaikum asalaam sister, You can add xanthan gum or flaxseeds flour instead of husk
How much xanthan gum would I add for this recipe instead of husk?
Depends on coconut flour quality, but you can add 3/4 tsp for this recipe
